According to the United Nations, only 29% of the total scientists in the world are female.

Yet there exists no gap in the capabilities of women and young girls entering secondary school.

The aim of this book and the others that follow in the series is to empower and inspire a younger generation to pursue science and to learn about relevant topics through the lens of the young female characters during their adventures.

This first book, called “Isabelle and the Telescope” introduces the Scientific method and relevant topics in Astronomy during the story.

The remaining books in the series continue to introduce new characters, adventures, and science topics in the second book, “Helios: Ceci’s first love” which engages young readers to learn about our Sun and Space Weather with novel parallels to the unpredictable behavior of teenagers.

The third book, “Lelis & Lola’s Cosmic Great-Grandpa” includes themes on diversity and multicultural families along with the discovery of Cosmic-rays as the story’s background.
